Too much selvedge?

To new sewers out there, you may be asking what is selvedge (it is also known as selvage for Americans). Well it is the self-finished edges of fabric to keep it from unraveling and it is most often discarded.

Except maybe not anymore...

Yes this amazing dress is made from selvedge fabric pieces. Jodi from Ric-Rac is the mastermind extraordinaire behind this creation.  

Looks like I need a new fabric bin to store my leftover selvage pieces in now...
